This little anti-bark device works very well. We use it inside to curb our Lhasa's nuisance barking. He would sometimes bark in the middle of the night because he wanted up on the bed. It's startling to have a loud bark wake you at 2am. That no longer happens! If you leave it on "audible" you'll hear the most annoying beep ever, but on the setting just for dogs, only they can hear it. Be sure to unplug it if you don't need it as it is quite sensitive. Our other dog hates it (he cringes when he sees us pick it up or plug it in.) So only use it when you need it. We leave it plugged in when we aren't home as well since we have neighbors below.
For me, this is much better than a bark collar because leaving a collar on a dog in a crate is a bad idea.
Outside use, I don't know how it would work?
